Nearshore Israel gas development ahead of schedule

Offshore staff

TEL AVIV, Israel – Noble Energy Mediterranean has brought forward the start of gas production from the Pinnacles #1 gas well offshore Israel.

According to partner Delek, gas will start to flow this month. A full reservoir update report should be issued after drilling is completed.

Earlier this year, the two companies, as part of the offshore Tamar development partnership, signed a gas sales agreement with Mashav Initiation & Development. Mashav has since decided not to exercise the right to reduce to 40% the gas quantity it will receive.
