HAMILTON, Bermuda -- ExxonMobil has awarded North Atlantic Drilling a letter of intent for continued use of the semi West Alpha offshore Norway.
The two-year extension is valued at $410 million, with an option for a further year. It program will start in summer 2014, in direct continuation of the rig’s next assignment on the Balder field in the North Sea.
