    Plexus extends HP/HT offshore drilling link with BG

    Plexus Holdings has won a £1.3-million ($2.1-million) order to supply BG International with 20,000-psi POS-GRIP wellhead technology for gas exploration drilling in the North Sea.

    LONDON – Plexus Holdings has won a £1.3-million ($2.1-million) order to supply BG International with 20,000-psi POS-GRIP wellhead technology for gas exploration drilling in the North Sea.

    In 2006 the two companies signed a five-year framework agreement for development and supply of the extreme high-pressure and high-temperature (X-HP/HT) technology.

    The original agreement was for several exploration wells in the North Sea which are now either completed or completed, and included the Jackdaw discovery well in the UK central sector.
