Offshore staff
HOUSTON – Petrobras has contracted Oceaneering International to supply 200 km (125 mi) of thermoplastic production control umbilicals for projects in the Santos basin offshore Brazil.
The contract is worth more than $120 million, and is Oceaneering’s largest-ever umbilical order. The umbilicals are for the presaltLula and Sapinhoá field developments.
Manufacturing should be performed at Oceaneering’s plant in Niteroi, Brazil, starting in 3Q 2012, and continuing through 3Q 2015.
