STRAUME, Norway – Cooper Energy has contracted AGR for drilling services offshore Tunisia.
AGR will perform planning, execution, and post-drilling activities for a one-well program on theBargou permit in the Gulf of Hammamet.
Planning has started at AGR’s branch in Dubai. Once this is complete, an operations team will move to the on-site project base prior to spudding of the well later this year.
AGR is seeking a jackup for the well, and could incorporate this into a larger drilling campaign in the Mediterranean Sea.
