Aker to supply subsea trees to Total for Dalia field offshore Angola

Total E&P Angola (NYSE: TOT Paris: FP FP) has contracted Aker Solutions (Oslo Børs:AKSO) to provide seven subsea tree systems for Dalia at a value of NOK 470 million ($81.6 million).

LYSAKER, Norway –Total E&P Angola (NYSE: TOT Paris: FP FP) has contracted Aker Solutions (Oslo Børs:AKSO) to provide seven subsea tree systems for Dalia at a value of NOK 470 million ($81.6 million).

The contract scope includes seven subsea trees, seven wellhead systems, and seven jumper systems. Engineering will be done at Aker’s manufacturing facility in Tranby, Norway. Procurement, manufacturing, and assembly will be at Port Klang, Malaysia, and Aberdeen, UK. Equipment deliveries will be made in 2013 and 2014.

Dalia field is in block 17 offshore Republica de Angola. The field is approximately 230 km (143 mi) offshore at a water depth of between 1,200 m (3,937 ft) to 1,400 m (4,593 ft), and covers an area of approximately 230 sq km (89 sq mi).
