Offshore staff
COWES, UK – STL Research has won funding from the UK Government to accelerate development of the company’s Neptune offshore personnel-access system.
The system is designed to ‘space-stabilize’ its personnel carrier, regardless of the motion of the ship on which it is mounted, allowing personnel to transfer safely transfer to fixed offshore structures including oil or gas platforms.
STL is aiming for internationally-recognized accreditation for use offshore.
