OSLO, Norway – Dolphin Geophysical’s new high-capacity 3D vessel Polar Duchess has started work a six-month contract for TGS in the Barents Sea.

The vessel is on an initial three-year time-charter from Armada Seismic, extendable by a further eight years.

Dolphin’s other large 3D vessel, Polar Duke, should complete the company’s first 3D multi-client project off Senegal during first half of May.

It will then relocate to the Barents Sea to start another 3D contract.
