OTC 2012: Halliburton’s autonomous inflow control device improves production efficiency

Halliburton has won an OTC Spotlight Award for its EquiFlow autonomous inflow control device. The company says the device improves completion reliability and efficiency by smoothing production throughout the interval. By delaying water and gas breakthrough, water and gas production after breakthrough is reduced, and ultimate recovery from the well is increased.
