Eni contracts Clough AMEC to maintain Blacktip offshore gas platform

The Clough AMEC joint venture has won a contract to provide maintenance support for an unmanned wellhead platform in Eni’s Blacktip gas project.

PERTH, Australia –The Clough AMEC joint venturehas won a contract to provide maintenance support for an unmanned wellhead platform in Eni’s Blacktip gas project.

Clough Ltd. (ASX:CLO) said the scope of work includes support and maintenance labor, specialist consulting, engineering, procurement, and management of subcontractors and fabrication for three years.

The onshore Blacktip Gas Plant is 240 km (150 mi) from Darwin near Wadeye with the unmanned platform located approximately 110 km (68 mi) offshore in the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf. The Blacktip Project, which is 100% owned and operated by Eni, delivers gas to the Northern Territory for power generation.
