HOUSTON– Gene Van Dyke, president and CEO of Vanco Exploration Co., has elected to resign to pursue other opportunities. The company has appointed Jeff Mitchell as interim CEO until a long-term successor is identified.
Mitchell assumed the COO role in 2009. He has more than 35 years of industry experience including an extensive background managing international exploration programs. His work has resulted in discoveries in Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa.
