HOUSTON – U.S. Steel Tubular Products has opened its Innovation & Technology Center in Houston, a new 10,000-sq ft facility designed to educate both internal and external audiences about the latest tubular products and technologies for the oilfield.
The facility includes exhibits for six areas of interest, with topical areas covering R&D Innovations; Finite Element Analysis; Inspection & Testing; Manufacturing; Products, Services, & Connections; Raw Materials; and a general overview area.
The facility also includes an amphitheater, two conference rooms, and a lab-themed meeting room. It will host events such as client lunch-and-learn sessions, industry association meetings, and employee training seminars.
