SYDNEY, Australia – Roc Oil (GB) expects production from the North Sea Enoch oil and gas field to be suspended for the remainder of 2012.

This is due to mechanical issues related to subsea equipment. Operator Talisman Energy has yet to provide confirmation of the potential work program and costs of remedial activities to reinstate production.

There have been no environmental or safety incidents as a result of the mechanical problems, Roc Oil adds.
