Offshore staff

GALVESTON, Texas – Subsea Tieback exhibitor Cameron is featuring its STM-15 Type DW5 15,000 psi WP Subsea Wellhead System on the exhibition floor. The STM-15 is a new technology that delivers up to 5.25 MM ft-lb bending capacity for enhanced performance for drilling and completion in water depths up to 10,000 ft (3,048 m).

Other key features include active pre-load lockdown at 2 MM lb; 5.25 MM ft-lb bending capacity; standard and high-capacity 16-in. supplemental hangers and adapters; machined from F-22, 85-ksi yield forged material; available for H2S service; and 7 MM lb end-load carrying capacity on single-landing shoulder for deep wells with complex casing programs.

Cameron says that its deepwater STM wellheads meet the requirements for most subsea drilling operations with deepwater semisubmersibles and drillships, as well as production applications such as tension-leg platforms, deep-draft caisson vessels and all types of subsea trees.
