Offshore staff
EASHING, UK – Hurricane Exploration has appointed EPC Offshore to select a development concept for the Lancaster oil discovery west of Shetland.
Lancaster is in 155 m (508 ft) water depth. Acompetent person’s report estimates the field contingent resources at more than 200 MMbbl recoverable.
Hurricane expects the first phase of the project to run until year-end with front-end engineering design starting in 2013. An EPC team is working with staff at Hurricane’s offices on thefield development plan.
