Statoil extends MMT survey coverage

VASTRA FROLUNDA, Sweden – Statoil has awarded MMT a worldwide frame for survey services.

These will include pipeline and seabed mapping surveys, inspections, and geotechnical and environmental survey support. The four-year contract has an option for an additional two years.

MMT will operate an ROV, ROTV, tow fish and vessel-based survey sensors under the agreement, with most of the work to be performed in the North Sea.

The company will supply six owned and operated vessels, plus others to be chartered from close associates.

Recently MMT completed subsea surveys for Statoil under a Nearshore frame agreement awarded last summer.
