Offshore staff

LONDON – The diving support vessel Seven Havila has set what owners Subsea 7 and Havila Shipping say is a world first for number of divers on the seabed at one time.

Eight divers were at work in 30 m (≈100 ft) of water offshore Stavanger, Norway.

The Dræger diving system used includes a 10-chamber, 24-man saturation suite with double bell handling that can work in depths of 400 m (1,312 ft)
