Seadrill rigs on long-term charters

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Seadrill has secured new contracts for three jackups. With combined revenue estimated at $311 million including mobilization fees and specified rig modifications.

Equion Energia in has contracted Offshore Mischief for a firm 180 days, starting in late March, in direct continuation of the rig's existing contract.

ExxonMobil E&P Malaysia has contracted West Leda for an 18-month (firm) development drilling program off Malaysia, due to start in late March, again in direct continuation from the rig’s current contract.

Finally Offshore Defender, currently operating off , will work for four years for Brunei Shell Petroleum drilling offshore Negara Brunei Darussalam. The contract should start this spring.
