DUBAI, UAE – Grandweld Shipyards has delivered a new dive and maintenance support vessel to Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.
The 55-m longAradah DMSV, equipped with a 360º Schottel rotatable propulsion system and dynamic positioning, will provide dive and maintenance operations on fields offshore Abu Dhabi.
Other features are a subsea lifting crane of 70 tons @ 14 m (46 ft) capacity positioned aft of the vessel, capable of deploying deadweight anchors, mooring buoys, and SBM hoses.
There are two self-contained integrated diving systemswith decompression chambers, and external fire fighting capability to Class 1 (3,300 cu m/hr, or 116,538 cf/hr).
