Offshore staff
SAN RAMON, California –Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) has another gas discovery offshore Western Australia in the Exmouth Plateau area of Carnarvon basin.
The Satyr-3 found 243 ft (74 m) of net gas pay while drilling to 13,369 ft (4,075 m) in 3,688 ft (1,124 m) of water on permit WA-374-P.
Chevron’s Australian subsidiary is the operator of the WA-374-P permit area and holds a 50% interest, with Exxon Mobil and Shell each hold 25%.
