MELBOURNE, Australia –The Veritas Viking II has completed acquiring the Floyd 3D seismic survey for Meo Australia Ltd. (ASX:MEO; OTC:MEOAY) in the Timor Sea.
The survey covered 601 sq km (232 sq mi) of full-fold data inWA-454-P in the Petrel sub-basin of Joseph Bonaparte Gulf. The processing results are expected to be available in 2Q 2012.
“When the final processed data arrives in house late next quarter, we will refine our volumetric assessment of the Marina gas and liquids discovery and mature the Breakwater prospect to drillable status,” said MEO’s CEO and MD Jürgen Hendrich. “This work is a pre-requisite to attracting a funding partner.”
