TheVeritas Viking IIhas completed acquisition of 2D seismic data in the Timor Sea for MEO Australia Ltd.
The 170 km (106 mi) Zeppelin survey was in AC/P53 in the Ashmore Cartier regional of the Vulcan sub-basin. The survey included a tie to the 507 sq km (196 sq mi) 3D survey over part of AC/P50 and AC/P51 schedule to begin as soon as the vessel reconfigures for 3D work.
MEO says the combination of surveys will provide a basis for establishing potential drilling locations.
