Statoil has contracted Reservoir Exploration Technology to perform an ocean bottom seismic survey for the Kvitebjørn field in the Norwegian North Sea.
The main aim is to improve structural interpretation and achieve better illumination of fault planes for fault interpretation.
The survey, due to start this spring, will last at least 70 days and the estimated contract value is $14 million, depending on final survey design.
