SeaRose to get service from Harland and Wolff

BELFAST, Northern Ireland – Harland and Wolff Heavy Industries Ltd. will perform the drydocking and service on the SeaRose FPSO for Husky Oil.

The vessel is on the White Rose oil field 350 km (217 mi) offshore Newfoundland. It was last comparably serviced in 2009.

The 272 m long by 46 m wide FPSO will go to the Belfast repair dock during May and June of 2012. Planning and coordination of the work is under way now.

SeaRose is the location for the first ever subsea tieback offshore Canada.
