Aker wins Talisman North Sea offshore maintenance support

OSLO, NorwayTalisman Energy has awarded Aker Solutions MMO a frame agreement for the Canadian operator’s maintenance and modifications projects offshore Norway.

Scope of work includes studies, engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and commissioning (EPCI), and maintenance services.

The contract has a three-year fixed duration until December 2014, with an anticipated value of NOK 870 million ($144 million). There is also an option to extend the agreement by six further years.

Aker will manage the studies, EPCI and maintenance and modifications from Stavanger, and prefabrication at its Egersund yard.
