Saipem wins Angola jackup charters

MILAN, Italy – Chevron has contracted Saipem for a three-year charter of the jackup Perro Negro 6 offshore Angola, starting in 2Q 2012.

In addition, Eni has extended the charter of the Saipem jackup Perro Negro 8 by 12 months, starting from November 2011.

Both rigs can operate in water depths of up to 350 ft (107 m).
