One killed, two injured in Petrobras offshore accident

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) has reported an accident on its offshore rig PUB-03 and that one worker is dead and two injured, according to Dow Jones.

An investigation is ongoing.

Information from the site has it that the workers fell while boarding the rig from a workboat.

The rig is offshore Rio Grande do Norte off northeast Brazil.
