IOEC plans 30 directional wells offshore Iran

TEHRAN, Iran – The Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Co. says a €264-million ($355-million) project is planned for offshore Iran in the Persian Gulf.

The project involves not only supervision of drilling, procurement, and equipment supply, but also technical services for 30 horizontal injection and production wells. The project is scheduled to last 44 months.

Iran says it is stepping up its offshore activities.
