Talisman extends North Sea support contracts with Wood Group

ABERDEEN, UK – Talisman Energy has awarded Wood Group PSN a new five-year contract, to provide operations and maintenance services on all 11 of Talisman’s UK offshore assets, and at the Flotta oil terminal on Orkney, northern Scotland.

The contract, valued at £90 million/yr, includes an option for a further five-year extension.

Talisman has also extended Wood Group PSN's existing engineering and modifications services contract, worth £50 million/yr ($79 million), through end-2012.

Wood Group has around 1,400 personnel working for Talisman, with 1,100 based on at the company’s offshore assets and onshore sites and 300 in Aberdeen and Glasgow.
