Offshore staff
LUANDA, Angola – A joint venture has been launched today in Angola between Amílcar Nascimento and Wood Group.
Wood Group Kianda will provide engineering, design, procurement, construction management, operations, maintenance, and support services to the Angolan sector for process facilities, subsea developments, pipelines, and risers.
It will also service ultra-deep, deep- and shallow-water developments along with onshore facilities, and will draw on the services of Wood Group Mustang, Wood Group Kenny, and Wood Group PSN.
The new company has won its first contract. It will be responsible for maintenance of topsides facilities on an FPSO serving some of BP's fields offshore Angola.
