Dolphin scheduled 2D seismic in Brazil's Barreirinhas and Ceara

BERGEN, Norway – Dolphin Geophysical will start a 2D multi-client seismic survey for Spectrum ASA over blocks in the northern equatorial margin offshore Brazil. This includes blocks expected to be included in the 11th license round in 2Q 2012.

The survey, scheduled to begin this month, will focus on the Barreirinhas and Ceara basin with regional tie-ins. Phase I is 12,000 km (7,456 mi) long and is supported by pre-funding.

The Polar Explorer will acquire the data which will be processed by Spectrum in its Houston office. Final results are scheduled for delivery in 1Q and 2Q 2012.
