BANGKOK – Mermaid Maritime subsidiary Subtech has won a contract to provide subsea and diving services for an unnamed major offshore Congo.

Subtech will perform subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance and saturation diving operations, using the Mermaid Endurer DP2 DSV/light construction vessel.

The $11.5-million contract, which starts next month, has a firm duration of 120 days and up to 180 if all options are exercised.

Mermaid Endurer is designed for operations in severe weather conditions, with strong maneuverability and station-keeping capabilities, according to Mermaid Maritime.

It also features an integrated 18‐man single bell saturation diving system, a 100‐metric ton (110-ton) heave‐compensated crane and accommodation for 86 personnel.
