Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Bibby Offshore is taking the DP3 DSV Toisa Polaris on a two-year charter in January, with options to extend.
The arrangement includes a pre-agreed purchase option as part of the deal with Toisa Ltd.
Bibby says the investment will create around 100 jobs offshore and a further 50 onshore during the first six months of operation.
Toisa Polaris has been a fixture in the North Sea since its delivery in 1999.
Bibby has also formed an ROV division, Bibby Remote Intervention, which will be responsible for ROV and survey operations across the company’s vessel fleet, including the DSV Toisa Polaris.
