PORT GENTIL, Gabon – The AGMN platform for Total’s Phase 3 Anguille field redevelopment off Gabon is nearing completion.

At the Eiffel yard in Fos-sur-Mer, southern France, the jacket has been fabricated and the crane has been installed on the deck. The platform should sail out next month and arrive in Gabon in February.

Elsewhere off Gabon, the drilling rig Constellation 1 has started a program for Total on the Girelle field, and the jackup Setty continues drilling on the Torpille field.

Preparations are under way onshore for construction of a gas-fired power plant connected to refurbishment of electrical installations for both Anguille and Torpille.

In September Total established a project group dedicated to exploration of the deep offshore Diabe license. By year-end the company expects to complete processing of seismic data acquired over the acreage in 2010.

Earlier this year, Total adds, incidents affecting two subsea pipelines impacted production from the Barbier and Baudroie fields.
