TSC Group secures jackup rig package

HONG KONG – TSC Group has secured a $29.2 million contract for a Super M2 jackup rig package from CIMC Raffles Shipyard. The deal comes with an option for another similar Super M2 jackup rig package by the end of this year.

TSC Group will design, engineer and provide an integrated drilling rig package and power control package to CIMC Raffles Shipyard. The Friede and Goldman designed Super M2 jackup drilling rig can operate in water depths of up to 300 ft (91 m), with a drilling depth of 30,000 ft (9,144 m).

The rig is expected to be completed in 4Q 2013.
