Santos reports Evans Shoal interest sale

ADELAIDE, Australia – Santos reports it has agreed to sell its entire working interest in Evans Shoal offshore Australia for $350 million. The buyer was not named.

Evans Shoal is in NT/P 48 of Bonaparte basin. Santos said it was selling the interest to Magellan Petroleum Australia.

Santos has a 40% interest in NT/P 48 and is the operator. The other participants are entities of PETRONAS (25%), Shell (25%), and Osaka Gas (10%).
