HOUSTON – Pemex Exploration and Production has signed a three-year contract with FMC Technologies Inc. to manufacture and supply surface wellheads in the Gulf of Mexico.
The $36-million contract scope includes approximately 150 surface wellheads, installation, and supervision for Pemex’s operations in the Northeast and Southwest Marine regions of the Gulf.
FMC in Mexico is scheduled to begin delivery in 4Q 2011. FMC says at least 40% of the contract value is assured during the call-off period.
