It follows over three years of construction and an investment of $75 million. The facility covers an area of 335,000 sq m (3.6 million sq ft), with a quayside more than 1.4 km (0.87 mi) long.

The focus will be on construction of newbuild jackups, liftboats, and rig refurbishment projects. The fully API-accredited facility also houses over 600 administration staff, a client office, workshops, and warehouse space.
