Offshore staff
NASSAU, Bahamas – Bahamas Petroleum Co. plc says it has completed acquisition of a 3D seismic program offshore the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.
CGGVeritas acquired a total of 3,075 sq km (1,187 sq mi) of data. The area was extended beyond the original scope in response to encouraging early results and good data quality, says Bahamas Petroleum.
Processing is under way and the preliminary results are expected early in 2012.
