STOCKHOLM, Sweden – PA Resources (PAR) expects first production from the Aseng field off Equatorial Guinea before year-end.

The FPSO, built in Singapore, is on location in offshore block I, with testing having been completed in mid-October. Hook-up and commissioning are under way.

In the same block, the Alen field development – like Aseng, operated by Noble Energy – is on budget and on schedule for start-up during 4Q 2013.

Currently the wellhead jacket is being installed and the production platform is 25% complete. The Atwood Hunter is on location and drilling gas injection wells. Later this year, the jackup Atwood Aurora is scheduled to begin drilling production wells.
