DNO orders Jette umbilical from Aker

Det norske oljeselskap ASA has ordered a subsea umbilical for its Jette field from Aker Solutions.

LYSAKER, Norway – Det norske oljeselskap ASA has ordered a subsea umbilical for its Jette field from Aker Solutions.

The NOK 60 million ($10.44 million) order is for 6 km (3.7 mi) of static electro-hydraulic stainless steel umbilical that includes a 3-in (7.62-cm) gas lift line and methanol injection.

Engineering and project management will be from Aker Solutions' Oslo headquarters. Manufacturing will take place at Aker Solutions' umbilical facility in Moss, Norway. The estimated delivery date is 3Q 2012.

The Jette field which is in block 25/7 and 25/8, west of Stavanger in the North Sea at a water depth of approximately 150 m (492 ft).
