Offshore staff
SHARJAH, UAE – Petrofac and China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corp have established a joint venture company, China Petroleum Petrofac Engineering Services (CPPES).
The Sharjah-based venture will provide project management and engineering services for oil and gas projects, mainly for Chinese oil and gas companies.
Petrofac and China Petroleum have worked together for some time, most recently winning an inspection, maintenance and repair contract for the Rumaila oil field onshore southern Iraq.
The joint venture is owned 51% by China Petroleum and 49% by Petrofac.
