SUGAR LAND, Texas – FairfieldNodal will provide cable-free nodal recording systems for NES LLC for use on Apache Corp.’s 3D seismic survey in Cook Inlet, Alaska.

The seismic acquisition plans include marine, transition zone, and land areas and is expected to last for three years.

This $30-million purchase of recording nodes marks the first time both offshore and onshore versions of the equipment will be used in combination.

Apache conducted a test in similar shallow-water and onshore conditions prior to specifying the FairfieldNodal nodes.
