Operators, NOAA to share Arctic data

Shell Exploration & Production, ConocoPhillips, and Statoil USA E&P have agreed to collaborate with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on ocean, coastal, and climate science for the Arctic.

Washington, D.C. – Shell Exploration & Production, ConocoPhillips, and Statoil USA E&P have agreed to collaborate with the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on ocean, coastal, and climate science for the Arctic.

Under the agreement, the organizations will share scientific data on weather, ocean, biology, sea ice, and seafloor maps, among other items.
