LONDON – Plexus Holdings is to supply GDF Suez with its POS-GRIP High Pressure/High Temperature wellhead system for exploration in the UK North Sea, under a $2.8-million contract.
GDF will take Plexus’ 15,000-psi (1,034-bar) wellhead system with mudline suspension for the Faraday and Jacqui wells.
Plexus CEO Ben van Bilderbeek said: “This new project for GDF in the North Sea is evidence of the trend by operating companies to tighten safety standards and manage costs.”
