Forum to supply ROV to Abyss for Africa work

HOUSTON – Forum Energy Technologies Inc. will supply a Sub-Atlantic Super Mohawk II ROV to Abyss International Benthic Exploration. The 2,000 m (6,562 ft) rated ROV is scheduled for delivery in October 2011.

The ROV will have subCAN software and launch and recovery, tether management, and a control van.

Abyss says it plans to use the ROV for inspection, survey, and intervention work off North and West Africa.
