Offshore staff
LONDON – E.ON.Ruhrgas UK (ERUK) has contracted Offshore Design Engineering (ODE) for continued operations and engineering support.
Under the integrated services contract, ODE will support all ERUK’s operated fixed and subsea facilities in the UK North Sea. It will also provide services to any new assets, acquired or developed, that ERUK may add during the term of the contract.
Currently, the assets covered include the Babbage platform and the subsea production systems of the Rita, Hunter, Johnston, and Huntington fields.
ODE has contracted Aberdeen-based Flexlife to provide specialist subsea engineering and integrity management services.
The contract term is for five years with two one-year extensions, to be exercised at ERUK’s discretion.
