ABERDEEN, UK – AGR Petroleum Services has awarded TWMA a $1.6-million contract to manage drilling waste in a forthcoming campaign off West Africa.

The six-month contract covers supply, installation, and operation of an integrated drilling waste management system.

This will be used by AGR on Hyperdynamics' concession offshore Republic of Guinea. The drillship Jasper Explorer is due to arrive in Conakry later this month to start the drilling program.

TWMA’s package will include cuttings dryers, centrifuges and pumps, and its CCDS cuttings handling, storage and transfer system.

Up to 15 technicians will be mobilized from Aberdeen to install the equipment on the drillship, and a team will remain onboard for the duration of the AGR-managed program.
