Offshore staff
TOKYO – INPEX Masela Ltd. has agreed to transfer to Shell Upstream Overseas Services (I) Ltd. a 30% interest in the Masela block offshore Indonesia in the Arafura Sea.
INPEX, as operator, also is planning to award the front-end engineering and design work in the first half of 2012 for the floating LNG development.
The block covers 3,221 sq km (1,244 sq mi) in water depths from 300 to 1,000 m (984 to 3,281 ft).
