OSLO, Norway – Drilling is under way on Kora-1, the first well on the AGC Profond PSC off northwest Africa.

The PSC covers the 9,838-sq km (3,820-sq mi) deepwater area jointly administered by Senegal and Guinea Bissau.

Ophir Energy is operator, in partnership with Noble Energy, First Australian Resources, L’Entreprise AGC, and Rocksource AGC Profond.
